Terms of Service
Last updated:
Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using Soma for iPhone, Soma Companion for Mac, or any related service (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
What Soma is
Soma is a pipeline that streams your iPhone’s Apple Health and Core Location data through your personal iCloud account to a companion app on your Mac, where a local MCP server makes the data available to AI agents you authorize. Processing is local; we do not operate servers that store your data.
Subscription
Soma for iPhone is offered as a paid subscription through the App Store with a 30-day free trial. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date through your Apple ID account settings.
Soma Companion for Mac is free.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the AI agents you connect to Soma and for any queries you send through them.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Mac, your iCloud account, and your agent credentials.
- You will not use the Service in a way that violates applicable law, Apple’s App Store policies, or the terms of third-party agent providers.
- You will not reverse-engineer or attempt to bypass the subscription mechanics.
Medical disclaimer
Soma is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Data surfaced by Soma is informational only. Do not use it to diagnose, treat, or manage any medical condition. Consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical questions.
Availability
The Service depends on Apple platforms and iCloud. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Apple platform changes may affect functionality; we will update the Service to adapt where feasible.
Intellectual property
The Soma name, brand, and closed-source components are owned by Eunoia. The open-source health dashboard and skill templates are licensed under the terms stated in their respective repositories.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Eunoia is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in that period.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
